CQ, Shanghai Calling… |
|
For the first time China will hold
a SEANET conference, the 38th SEANET Convention, in Shanghai on 5-9
November, 2010. |
 |
 |
 |
|
Indeed it gives us great pleasure
and excitement to have this opportunity to host the SEANET
event this year, thanks to the support and trust from our
amateur friends of various countries and thanks to a more open
China. We are thrilled that we will have the chance of
hosting this session of eyeball QSO's for ham friends from the
many corners of the global village. To quote a Chinese
saying, how happy we are to have friends from afar! |

|
|
All hams are but one family.
Amateur radio has become a messenger in promoting
understanding and friendship among peoples of the world.
"Considerate, loyal, progressive, friendly, balanced and
patriotic" have become the code of conduct advocated by
amateur operators across the world. |

Shanghai is both a city of several
hundred of years rich in cultural heritage and a metropolis imbued
with energy and vitality. Shanghai and its people, like those
cities and people of many other parts of China, have benefited
tremendously from the country' opening up and reform over the past
thirty years or so. Come and feel Shanghai yourself, and we
certainly hope you enjoy this extraordinary experience.
November in Shanghai will be a time of clear sky and crisp air, just
the right season for sightseeing and meetings. |

We look forward to seeing you in
Shanghai!

Dear SEANET
friends:
The 38th SEANET convention was successfully held in Shanghai on 5-9
November 2010. We are pleased to have had the support and assistance
from many amateur friends in China and abroad, without whose
enthusiastic participation the convention would not have been so
successful. We wish to extend our heart-felt thanks to all entities
and individuals who have contributed to the success of this
convention. We are grateful in particular to Yaesu Company for
sponsoring the event. Our thanks also go to Shanghai Ham Radio
Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. and Wouxun Electronics Co., Ltd.
for their kind assistance.
Wish you and your family a healthy and prosperous year of 2011! See
you in Brunei!
